Deena Robertson, LPC
Ms. Deena Robertson, a Licensed Professional Counselor, has genuine compassion and empathy for those who have walked through difficult life experiences. She believes in emotional growth, hope, compassion for yourself, and understanding your traumatic experiences. Deena is very trauma-informed and believes in a non-discriminatory and non-judgmental environment that allows healing, growth, and true insight. Deena received her Master’s Deg0ree in Professional Counseling at Liberty University.
Her therapy includes utilizing play techniques to engage with children and work through trauma-related issues. Deena primarily works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing trauma, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, and those affected by substance abuse disorders.
Together, you and Deena will shine a light on a path filled with hurt and pain. She will help you better understand your experiences and why you are in your current situation and will help you find the things in your life you want to change and schedule a follow-up appointment to assess the impact with the therapist.
John helps clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and self-doubt, with a focus on reducing avoidance, improving emotional regulation, and fostering meaningful, values-driven action. His approach is warm, practical, and collaborative—he creates a supportive space where clients feel heard while also being gently challenged to step toward growth.
John’s work emphasizes values-driven behavior, emotional regulation, and reducing avoidance to create lasting change. He works with adults and young adults who struggle with anxiety, depression/mood disorders, trauma, relationship concerns, and difficulties with self-esteem. John frequently supports clients navigating family conflicts, marital/relationship struggles, life transitions, and stress related to discrimination or systemic barriers. He also works with individuals who experience avoidance behaviors, emotional suppression, or difficulty asserting themselves in relationships.
Clients often describe therapy with John as grounded, supportive, and practical. His goal is to create a space that is nonjudgmental and collaborative, where clients feel heard but also gently challenged to step outside their comfort zones. He brings warmth and a direct yet compassionate approach, helping clients explore difficult emotions without feeling overwhelmed. While John encourages insight and deep reflection, He also focuses on actionable steps to make progress in daily life.

Insurance & Billing Details
If you are using insurance, Headway requires you to enter a billing method. This is only used to collect your copay or for any fees associated with late cancellations or no-show appointments. You will always receive a notification before any charge is made to your card.
